On Saturday I decided it was too nice to stay in, so off I went by bus- firstly down to Totnes and changed to a bus for Kingsbridge. Well, Kingsbridge was so quiet with virtually no one around, so I headed back to the bus station and there was a bus heading for Dartmouth (in Western National green livery, celebrating 90 years of service)- wow! what a spectacular ride, the scenery is absolutely great and you see so much more than you do by car, suprised how many people were on the beaches, Slapton and Blackpool Sands were both quite busy. Arrived in Dartmouth, fish & Chip lunch, a bit of a wander around and then a bus back to Torquay. Great day out and made full use of my bus pass.
